About the Artist
Whether creating physical or digital collage works, Mario Zoots always manage to merge the starkly different artistic styles of abstraction and portraiture. Describing his work as “disrupting someone’s gaze” he manipulates found images to imbue faces with a mysterious and surreal quality. Exhibited in Berlin, published in Italian Magazines and invited to participate in the 2013 Biennial of the Americas, Zoots is a widely regarded and collected collagist.
