The limited edition photographic prints of Emma Kemp have a nostalgic tone. By using elements of collage, mixing washed out color-saturated images together with brighter tones, her work is inspired by the technical glitches and mechanical anomalies of the analog photographic era. A native Londoner living and working in Los Angeles, Emma Kemp has a wide educational background – graduating from both Central Saint Martins and The California Institute of Arts – with her work appearing in art exhibitions from Singapore to Copenhagen. In private collections around the world, Emma Kemp’s interesting work has received critical appreciation from ArtSlant and FAD amongst other arts publications.
