FEDERICA LANDI

Italian visual artist Federica Landi graduated in 2009 at the Academy of fine art of Florence and went on to gain her masters in fine art photography at London collage of communication. Working mainly in photography, her approach ranges from experimental methods such as Polaroid transfer, silver emulsion on wood, physical intervention on negatives, to digital photography. Federica Landi creates beautiful yet intense images, her work as covering many themes: psychological narratives, imperfections, materialism and the relationship between the body and its surroundings.

Landi has exhibited in an extensive list of group shows across the UK, Europe and the USA including the Whitechapel Gallery, London. Her works are becoming increasingly in-demand, appearing in publications including PhotoVogue Italy and online magazines such as SOURCE and F-STOP and Federica is also part of the art collective The Imaginary Beings, who regularly collaborate and exhibit across Europe.
