JON JAYKOE

The foundation of Jaykoe’s practice is drawing and tracing movements in city space, encompassing a range of processes, from video work, installations, drawings and prints to books.  Foremost, however, Jaykoe is a photographer, mounting his prints, or sometimes his lab paper, on acrylic plexiglass and aluminium to creat permanent subversions of the traditional urban space. Major global cities are the muses of Jaykoe, his photography work focusing on interconnectivity and distortion of space.

Jon Jaykoe has exhibited extensively across his home town of London in galleries and shows such as; Schwartz Gallery, Four Corners Gallery, even at BFI Southbank. Internationally, he has had his work shown in Germany, Norwary, Italy, Brazil, Japan and the USA.
