PATTI JORDAN

Patti Jordan reinterprets the printmaking process, using a variety of mediums from printer's ink to graphite pencil and powder. Exploring the polarity between transparency and opacity, her spectral explosions are smudged across white and black backgrounds. She carefully names each piece, creating a dialogue between image and text by linking her process to the final collectable artwork.

With solo exhibitions in New York and group shows around the USA, Patti Jordan is the winner of several prestigious awards, such as The Type Director’s Club Award from Fox News, The Ford Foundation Award and is a member of the Alpha Epsilon Lamda Honor Society. Published in renowned publications including The 5th International Drawing Annual and the trendy NoTofu Magazine, Patti Jordan is revered as a future star of the drawing and printmaking world.
